VIRGINIA CALL TO ACTION: SUFFOLK BOARD MEETING TONIGHT

The school board in Suffolk, Virginia is proposing a ban on “CROSS-GENDER” dressing in the student dress code. You can read more about it in the article linked here.This is a clear attack on gender-variant youth in Virginia and should not be tolerated. The problem is not gender-expression but the social norms that allow these youth to be bullied.

If you can please help spread the word about a school board meeting that is happening TONIGHT. Only folks from Suffolk will be allowed to speak but it ALWAYS helps to have bodies out. Set up car pools people!!!

“Suffolk school board meeting is TONIGHT. Please attend if you can and speak out AGAINST the proposed ban on “cross-gender” clothing. Meeting information is: The Suffolk School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 9, beginnng at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, located on the second floor of the Municipal Building, at 441 Market St.”
